Interestingly on C-Span this AM Robert Novak, in speaking of Rumsfeld and the troops, said “soldiers always gripe” to place the questioning about lack of equipment in his own special perspective. And he commented that a reporter who had suggested the line of questioning to the soldier might lack ethical standards – this from a man who outed CIA operative, Valerie Plame, at the behest of an administration source he refuses to identify. Ah, the ever-expanding twilight zone.
